About

I have been a practicing rheumatologist and internist for over 35 years. I received my internal medicine training at Yale ( medical school and residency) and my rheumatology fellowship training at the National Institutes of Health and George Washington University Hospital. After having practiced for 35 years I consider myself a good diagnostician and a good guide to help people navigate the intricacies of their health and illnesses. I am fortunately in a position in my practice to be able to spend a lot of time with my patients both in person and on the phone. You will not feel rushed during an appointment with me. As a colleague of mine once said we practice “high touch, low volume medicine”.

In addition to my medical practice I enjoy playing music in a wind quintet, reading, bird watching and swimming.
